Save the Bondi Tennis Courts

The 70+ year old Wellington Street tennis courts have been closed down by the developers, Sports Properties, to make way for 42+ apartments. To do this, they have applied once  again to rezone the land. This means the community loses access to recreational space, and Bondi gets another block of apartments.

Council has said NO four times including most recently in a response to a request by the state govt to review the decision. Your local member the Hon. Gabrielle Upton has consistently objected to this proposal since 2010, and YOU have said a resounding NO over and over.

Rescue Bondi is working through summer to ensure this decision is upheld, but we need your help! Please donate to support the campaign now.

Chip in to save the Bondi Tennis Courts!

Can you support the campaign by making a small donation? Any amount will help! We'll use the money to make sure the Planning Minister hears your message loud and clear in the coming weeks and any leftover will go towards costs incurred.  The campaign to save the Bondi Tennis Courts is run by volunteers who have paid all costs to try and save this public amenity from rezoning.

Our Goal: $1500
