For 17 years Jane Turner and her team at Gertrude & Alice, Bondi's famous bookstore, have provided a free community service to the elderly, the poor, the netflix-less, and all booklovers of Bondi, via our beloved curbside book fete.
This Bondi institution is our defacto public library offering good reads, great feeds and a chance to rub shoulders with Bondi's literati. Not everyone can afford to buy or get out to borrow a new book every week.

Books matter because ideas matter, and no one should be excluded from the conversation.
